Putting Myself Out There

Hello Everyone,

This winter I’ve been writing a book – a memoir.

Until now, I’ve been holding it close to my chest. This was because I wasn’t sure if I could complete it. Also I didn’t want any outside pressure to get it done.

It’s not quite finished yet, but I am closing in on the last chapter, so I now feel confident to divulge what I’ve been up to.

I admit it was a rather daunting undertaking to launch into writing a memoir. But it turns out I had a lot to say and the ink flowed fast. The process has been a cathartic release – therapeutic to the Nth degree.

I feel like I’m exposing myself a fair amount in it. No – there are no nude photos, however, I do bare my soul and feel I’ve pushed my level of sharing beyond my comfort zone. So I am nervous announcing my story.

Check back here again for snippets and updates.

Onwards we go…

I love that you used Jasper’s favourite kind of typewriter as the intro to your memoir post. He would love that you banged out your memoir on such old technology…just kidding. I too am looking forward to reading your story and your Jasper memories.
